Francis Toumbakaris is the founder and principal designer of Francis Interiors, where he drives the firm’s unwavering commitment to creating exquisite interiors for his clients.

While living in his homeland of Athens, Greece, Francis was an acclaimed ballet dancer and performed around the world, including New York’s Broadway. Those years of dance gave him a foundational awareness of how people move through space, with grace, balance, and harmony. With artistry embedded in his DNA, combined with his expertise in lighting design, Francis now uses the home as his stage to create impactful interiors that carry the essence of the humans living there.

Before calling Manhattan his home, Francis resided in Switzerland, Germany, and Japan. His extensive travels, along with his Greek heritage, influence his dynamic design vocabulary and his eye for beauty.To Francis, “a beautifully designed home is both transformative and evocative; it has the ability to transport us to a place we love, while evoking a sense of familiarity and comfort deep within us.”
